The honey dehumidifier is a professional device developed in 2000 by GIORDAN SRL.
The device is designed to remove excess water from honey without changing its organoleptic properties. Thanks to a hermetically sealed chamber with a forced ventilation system, the natural aroma and scent of the honey are preserved. This system prevents external factors such as odors or ambient humidity from entering during processing, while at the same time preventing the aromatic substances in the honey from escaping. This ensures a top-quality final product.
To increase performance, the unit integrates a high-efficiency refrigeration system (“super cold”, included in the price) whose purpose is to condense and collect, as quickly as possible and at low temperature, the water removed from the honey.
Inside the dehumidifier, AISI 304 stainless steel discs with special inclined guides rotate slowly. They not only improve the moisture removal process but also allow the unit to operate as an efficient honey mixer.
The unit is mounted on wheels and made of robust, food-grade AISI 304 stainless steel sheet, compliant with CE standards.
For even greater efficiency, the dehumidifier has double walls with a water heating system. The tank bottom is of the total-drain type, ensuring complete emptying of the product.
The unit is equipped with a control panel featuring:
a digital thermostat to monitor product temperature;
motor start and control functions;
dehumidification mode control;
a main power switch.
The dehumidifier has an automatic moisture removal system that extracts excess water from the honey and directs it to an external AISI 304 stainless steel collection tank. The tank is fitted with a level regulator that automatically stops the dehumidification cycle when the preset amount of removed water is reached.
