ABOUT THE PRODUCT
A compact steam wax melter for a smaller apiary. Hot water steam melts the wax from intact combs and disinfects the wooden parts of the frames—no need to cut out the combs.
Holds up to 6 Hoffman or 8 standard brood (Dadant) frames at a time. Water is poured into the water tank and a gas burner is placed under the unit; the steam produced melts the wax, which drains out through the bottom outlet.
The body, basket, and lid are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, so the wax retains its natural light color.
